Elections 2020

In accordance with the ASHE Bylaws and ASHE Conflict of Interest Policy, presented below are the slate of candidates for the ASHE Board of Directors as well as each of the four ASHE Councils. 

In casting your ballot, we ask you to consider the vast diversity of ideas and perspectives, backgrounds and values, communities, and commitments that our Association represents.

Voting

Voting will begin on Friday, July 10 and end on Wednesday, August 12 at Noon Pacific. If a run-off is necessary, it will occur Thursday, August 13-Thursday, August 20. 

Current members as of July 9, 2020, are eligible to vote; ballots will not be sent to members who join or reactivate their membership after July 9. 

All current ASHE members are eligible to vote for ASHE President-Elect, Members-at-Large, and Graduate Student Representative. Those ASHE members who are members of an ASHE Council(s) are eligible to vote for those respective offices. You are able to select your Council membership on your ASHE Profile when you log-in at https://www.ashe.ws/login.asp. Adjustments made to Council membership after July 9 will not be accepted for the 2020 election.

Each active ASHE member was emailed a unique and anonymous voting link through Qualtrics on July 10. You must use this link to cast your ballot. If you are a member of a Council(s), those ballots will automatically populate.

President-Elect
The individual who is elected to the ASHE Presidency will serve a three-year term, taking office as President-Elect in November 2020, as President in November 2021, and as Immediate Past President in 2022.
