ASHE 2021 Presidential Webinar Series: Space, Place, and Relationship in Higher Education
Webinar #1: COVID and Equity as Occupying Place and Space

It has been a full year since COVID-19 has changed higher education as places and spaces for living, learning, and becoming. The impact of shifting to remote learning has especially impacted minoritized students who have lost the conceptual "spaces" and physical "places" where learning took place about themselves and others. In many instances, cultural centers have remained open and tried to recreate those places and spaces virtually. In this first of the 2021 ASHE Presidential Webinar Series, moderator Stephen John Quaye discusses with leaders about how they have spanned and unsettled the borders of cultural center physical spaces.
