Listserv Policy

The ASHE Listserv is for members only. If you would like to become a member, please visit Join ASHE.

  • Current ASHE Members are automatically included on the weekly Listserv messages.
  • To post a message to the most current ASHE Listserv, please submit your message no later than noon Pacific on Wednesday to the e-mail address: ASHELIST@UNLV.EDU 
  • To psubmit a job to the listserv and/or ASHE’s job postings page, please fill out the ASHE Job Posting Form and email as an attachment to ASHELIST@UNLV.EDU
  • To be removed from the ASHE Listserv, please e-mail ASHELIST@UNLV.EDU with your request.

Guidelines for messages posted to the ASHE Listserv

  1. The ASHE listserv will be moderated, but the responsibility for the content of the message is entirely with the sender.
  2. Every message pertaining to higher education, or of immediate interest to ASHE members, will be disseminated. The Listserv moderator reserves the right to withhold posting announcements of questionable content or origin. Submitters of rejected announcements will be notified and offered an opportunity to reword the post for acceptance.
  3. Submit only verifiable information regarding third parties.
  4. Private or personal messages will not be accepted.
  5. Keep submissions brief. Submissions over one page in length will be edited. Provide any existing website hyperlinks.
  6. Submit Listserv notices in the body of the email or text versions only; Word, Wordpad, or Text Edit.
  7. To be included on the current week's listserv, please submit your announcement to no later than noon Pacific on the Wednesday of that week.
