Hotel

The conference headquarters and primary hotel for 2023 will be the Hilton Minneapolis. The address for the hotel is 1001 S Marquette Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55403. The ASHE Conference Schedule is a useful resource for attendees to plan lodging and travel arrangements. The Pre-Conferences (which all require additional registration) begin on the morning of Wednesday, November 15 and the General Conference Welcome Reception begins at 7pm Central/Minneapolis Time that night. The Community Meeting and Closing Reception, the final event of the conference, ends at 5pm Central/Minneapolis Time on Saturday, November 18.

ASHE highly encourages conference attendees to stay at the ASHE Conference hotel. This helps us meet our contractual commitment to the hotel and avoid paying a penalty fee.

Roommate Matching: if you are looking for a roommate(s), please visit our form webpage at ashe.ws/roommatematching. Contacts collected are shared with others who have signed up who are seeking a roommate. After you have submitted the form, you will be provided access to the responses of others searching for shared housing arrangments at the conference. Be certain to check the sheet regularly to identify if you have lodging needs that aligns with others. Individual respondents are responsible for contacting other potential roommates for the conference.

Hotel reservations must be made through the ASHE reservation portal at the link above. This applies our group rate link that will not be accesible through external websites.

ASHE Group Rate

$149.00 plus applicable taxes and fees for a standard room; upgrades are available for additional fees. This rate will be available until we have reached our room block commitment.

Sales tax of 8.025% and hotel occupancy tax of 13.15% (as of February 28, 2023) will be charged to the individual room account in addition to the room rate above.

Reservation Deposit

The hotel will charge a one-night reservation deposit at the time of reservation. The deposit will be applied to your room/tax charges at the time of your stay. Should you cancel your reservation, the deposit will be refunded if notice is received at least three working days prior to arrival, and a cancelation number is obtained.

Incidentals Deposit

The hotel will charge a $100 per night incidentals deposit at the time of check-in. At checkout, any unused funds will be released to you in 3-7 business days according to your card company and bank's processing of returned funds. 

Hotel Check-In Time

Check in begins at 3pm Central/Minneapolis Time (early check-in is subject to availability, contact the hotel 24 hours in advance to arrange). Free luggage storage is available at the hotel front desk.

Hotel Check-Out Time

Check out is at 11am Central/Minneapolis Time (late check-out is subject to availability and fees may apply; contact the hotel 24 hours in advance to arrange). Free luggage storage is available at the hotel front desk.

Accessibility

The Hilton Minneapolis is in full compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act required under Title III. You may review the full list of accessible amenities and features at the hotel.

The Hilton Minneapolis offers accessible rooms that are wheelchair accessible. These include roll-in showers or tub transfers. In addition, hearing impaired equipment, known as TTY telephones, are available upon request and select rooms are hypoallergenic.
