Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Higher Education
The Department of Higher Education at The University of Mississippi seeks applicants with expertise in quantitative methods or other related fields in Higher Education to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Additional expertise in assessment and/or program evaluation is also welcomed.

The Department of Higher Education offers residential and online Master's degrees that are focused on Student Affairs and designed for working professionals. The department also offers a residential Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree focused on researcher preparation, as well as an online Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree that is focused on practitioner preparation. The Ed.D. degree is based on the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate (CPED) framework and is directed toward equity, ethics, and social justice in professional practice.

The Department of Higher Education is deeply committed to advancing equity in Higher Education policy and practice and is, therefore, seeking a colleague who is committed to the principles of equity, ethics, and social justice and demonstrates such via their teaching, research, and service.

The candidate of choice will be asked to chair, as well as serve on, doctoral dissertation committees and master's theses, conduct research, and provide service to the University and community.
