The School of Education at the University of Michigan seeks to appoint a Research Investigator in Higher Education with a focus on holistic admissions, enrollment management, and equitable college access.
We will consider applicants knowledgeable in higher education research who have deep knowledge of issues related to college access, stratification, and inequality. The ideal candidate will have content and/or professional expertise on admissions and enrollment management practices, a strong skill set in quantitative methods and causal inference strategies, and background or interest in grant writing.
The Research Investigator will contribute to research projects under the direction of Professor Michael Bastedo in the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education. The hire will be a major contributor to a new research center focused on holistic admissions and related practices.
This is a one-year renewable position beginning in early 2022 with competitive salary and benefits. Depending on the candidate, this position may be either remote or located in Ann Arbor.
