Campus Director (Satellite Campus)
Reporting directly to the Provost & Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Campus Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rio Grande Valley campus. Specifically, the Director is responsible for all aspects of campus operations, including recruitment, outreach, advising, retention, and faculty and student support services in the Rio Grande Valley and facility management.

The director should bring substantial experience and success in meeting recruitment/retention goals, providing excellent student support services, building strong collaborative relationships with faculty, administrators, alumni, students and other University constituents. The Director will serve as the liaison between the University and the City of La Feria area universities, technical, and community colleges, the Diocese of Brownsville, area businesses and other key partners/organizations in secondary and postsecondary education. The individual hired into this position will also be involved in the development and initiation of non-credit and credit continuing education and training opportunities for professionals and adult learners.

Requirements Requirements:
  • Master's degree is required; a degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, Education, Communications, Juris Doctorate or Ph.D. is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of managerial work experience required in Higher Education/Adult Learning Programs or similar role with responsibility for implementing program objectives, to include prior experience with:
    • Enrollment management and academic recruitment
    • Budgetary planning
    • Human Resources Management
    • Course Scheduling and Planning
    • Facility Management
    • Student Programming (Student Services)
