The Belk Center for Community College Leadership and Research has a postdoctoral research scholar position available to support quantitative research in one or multiple of the following areas:
labor market outcomes/economic mobility;
postsecondary career and technical education, community college teaching and learning;
college access; or
This position will primarily work to develop and lead teams of researchers to produce internal and external reports specifically for community college stakeholders, including community college presidents, policymakers, and practitioners.
Some travel may be required to engage with stakeholders for designing studies, collecting data, presenting findings, etc.
The postdoctoral research scholar will support analyzing data and writing reports, executive summaries, and/or scholarly articles to disseminate findings.
There will be opportunities to publish and/or co-publish research and present findings at regional and national conferences.
There may be opportunities to teach courses. This individual will interact with the Belk Center faculty and graduate students in accomplishing our collective mission.
