Social Justice in Education Post-Doctoral Fellows Program
We seek two colleagues whose research focuses on advancing diversity, access, and social justice in education and society. We are particularly interested in scholars with a commitment to social justice research with a focus in at least one of our three thematic areas (i.e., Diversity, Equity, & Social Justice; STEM in Education, and Effective Teaching and Learning).
The GSE Social Justice in Education Research Post-Doctoral Fellows program is intended to support fellows in the areas of research and teaching, with a specific focus on preparing scholars of color to seek and secure tenure-track faculty positions at research universities. The Program will support fellows to strengthen their independent social justice in education research and enhance their publication record while also being exposed to all aspects of the faculty experience at an Association of American Universities (AAU). Under the guidance of the Associate Dean for Research, fellows will be mentored by senior faculty. Fellows will teach (one course in year one and two courses per year thereafter) and engage in service activities within the Rutgers GSE
