Research-to-Policy Collaboration (RPC) Fellowship Program
If you know of someone looking for a remote-based policy training opportunity, please share the Research-to-Policy Collaboration fellowship program: https://research2policy.org/interns-fellows/. We have a strong track record of supporting the professional development of trainees ranging from postbac to postdoc. Currently we are particularly interested in supporting junior scholars who want to learn about science communication, community engagement, and policy processes, ultimately using data in action to evaluate research-translation practices. We are also optimistic about growing parallel efforts related to racial equity in entrepreneurship. Information for applicants can be found here: https://research2policy.org/interns-fellows/
We also have a Rapid Response Network of research professionals from late-stage grad students to emeritus professors who help respond to requests from Congress. We do all the legwork to reduce barriers to entry, minimize time commitment, and make it a feasible and enjoyable experience for researchers who want to share their experiences with legislators. If you're looking to contribute to policy but not participate in the trainee program, you can sign up for that here: https://research2policy.org/participating-researchers/
