Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Academic Programs
The University of Georgia (UGA) seeks a dedicated and highly motivated professional to serve as the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Academic Programs. The position will report to the Vice President for Instruction, but work closely with the President, Provost, and Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Dean of the Graduate School in enrollment planning for both undergraduate and graduate programs. The Associate Vice President will also work with the Office of Instruction, the Graduate School, and academic units in program development. The Office of Instruction is responsible for supporting teaching, advising, and student learning on UGA’s main and extended campuses. Responsibilities:
  • Enrollment management related to undergraduate, graduate, professional, and online education. This role will require a close and effective working relationship with the senior leadership to develop strategic enrollment plans, monitor enrollments and matriculation, and plan for resource implications. 
  • Supervising and working directly with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Student Financial Aid to ensure that the units coordinate and meet enrollment targets.
  • Working closely with the Graduate School and academic units (including faculty, program directors, department heads, and deans) to identify, develop and implement new online graduate degree and certificate programs with high-market potential consistent with the university’s strategic goals. Acting as a liaison between academic units and the Office of Online Learning to ensure effective execution of the new programs.

Requirements Required Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in higher education, educational leadership or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressively responsible experience in higher education admissions/recruitment with an understanding of enrollment management technology/platforms.

Relevant/Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Doctorate in higher education, educational leadership or a related field.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, analytical acumen, strong critical/logical thinking skills and high aptitude for problem-solving, including the ability to anticipate the impact/downstream effects of proposed solutions before implementation.
  • The ability to create, manage and implement solutions that are operationally sustainable and outcome-focused in a complex environment.
  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.
  • A strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to successfully work independently, while actively contributing to the mission of the university.
  • The ability to leverage innovative solutions and data analytics to execute strategic enrollment initiatives and outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across campus to achieve positive outcomes.
