Rowan University is seeking an innovative colleague for a tenure-track or tenured position at the Associate Professor level for the Master of Arts in Higher Education program beginning fall 2023. The department is seeking a creative faculty member to play an integral role in the Master’s level program in higher education. Strong candidates include, but are not limited to, those whose research focuses on: issues from a critical perspective; marginalized students; organizational culture and change; equitable higher education opportunities; and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Posting Start Date:
An earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) from an accredited institution with a major in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a closely related field
Evidence of an active, well-developed, social justice oriented research agenda with a strong record of publications and grant activity, commensurate with rank of Associate Professor
Demonstrated ability to work with and support graduate students from marginalized communities
Commitment to excellence in research, teaching, grant writing, graduate student advising, and service
Dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, and social justice in higher education,
Demonstrated record of excellent communication and interpersonal skills
