Clinical Assistant Professor
Responsibilities include teaching primarily bachelor's level courses (online, face-to-face, off-site, and at Ft. Knox), advising, participating in ongoing program development, recruiting students, supporting enrollment management activities (e.g., retention and graduation efforts), course and program development, expanding professional development offerings to education (e.g., community colleges), industries, and organizations (e.g., nonprofits); and, providing service to the college, university, professional associations, and approved community outreach activities. We seek individuals who will teach in the areas of leadership, evaluation, project management, and training in the workplace.

  • Doctoral degree (e.g., Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in a field related to leadership, organizational development, organizational behavior, or higher/adult education.
  • Demonstrated successful in-classroom teaching and/or online experience teaching in higher education (preferred successful asynchronous online teaching experience).
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching from an evidence-based research perspective and andrological approach.
  • Demonstrated capacity to advice and support students in career counseling and academic success toward graduation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, international engagement, and working with students from multicultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively engage with colleagues and community.
  • Capacity or experience with curricular and program development.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting students and supporting enrollment management activities (e.g., retention and graduation efforts).
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in working in partnership with community groups, companies, government agencies, and other key stakeholders as appropriate to the position.
  • Evidence of successful partnership experiences in diverse setting.
