The Department of Policy, Organizational, and Leadership Studies in the College of Education and Human Development at Temple University is seeking to fill an open rank, non-tenure track faculty position in Educational Leadership and Policy beginning August 2023. The compelling candidate will be able to fill key instruction needs by demonstrating deep knowledge and expertise in urban education, schooling, and school administration. Ideally, the candidate for this position will have prior higher education teaching experience, prior school or school district leadership experience, and expertise in organizational leadership and change, education policy, urban education, and civic engagement.

Requirements
The responsibilities of the position include teaching, advising master’s and doctoral students and participating in department, college, and professional service activities. Required qualifications are an earned doctorate in education, educational leadership or administration, or a relevant field, and experience in teaching university-level courses. Experience working in a school district, and administering executive-style education programs, is preferred.
