Post-doctoral Scholar
The Physics Education Research Group at the University of Utah (PERU) seeks to hire a post-doctoral scholar working on diversity and inclusion in undergraduate STEM and professional STEM careers. The successful candidate will work as part of a team leading research on students of color in STEM majors at a primarily white institution and supporting a ten year follow up study on women in physics and astronomy. This will include conducting interviews, policy analysis, and further qualitative work at the University of Utah. This position is a one-year contract with an additional one-year renewal depending on performance. Further renewals will be dependent on performance and funding. The position is open until filled with a preferred start date of September 1st. The successful candidate will start by working remote with the eventual expectation of moving to Salt Lake City, UT. This position is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation.
