Organizational Insight Analyst - Faculty Development & Diversity
The Office of Faculty Development, Diversity and Engagement at Stanford University is seeking an Organizational Insight Analyst. Requirements Minimum Education and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (education, sociology, psychology, race, ethnic or gender studies, etc.) and four years’ extensive experience or combination of education and relevant technical field experience solving analytical problems using quantitative and qualitative approaches. Advanced degree strongly preferred. Experience in higher education is preferred.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
  • Proficiency in manipulating and analyzing complex data from varying sources.
  • Extensive experience in and strong passion for empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
  • Understanding of current higher education research and best practices in faculty hiring, development, advancement, and engagement.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to positively convey findings and influence senior leadership & faculty. Demonstrated experience querying, processing, analyzing, and reporting on large data sets.
  • Familiarity and experience with intermediate statistical methods; proficiency with statistical tools such as SPSS, SAS, R or similar tools.
  • Ability to use visual data tools to present data clearly to non- technical audience using data visualization software such as Tableau, Excel, SPSS, or similar software in conjunction with strong verbal ability.
  • Flexible analytical approach allowing for results at varying levels of precision.
  • Familiarity with strategic planning concepts. Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent writing skills in the English language.
