Lecturer, Educational Administration
The Department of Educational Administration (EDA) in the School of Education and Health Science (SEHS) at the University of Dayton is pleased to announce a 12-month, non-tenure track Lecturer position for its online Ed.D. in Leadership for Organizations program, with a start date of August 1, 2021.

Requirements Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Ed.D. in P-12 Administration/Leadership, Higher Education Administration/ Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching or developing a variety of courses in areas of specialization, such as leadership, organizational development, program evaluation, learning assessment, leadership ethics, community engagement, law, leadership for diversity, equity and inclusion, public policy, finance, or a related area.
  • Demonstrated, successful experience working with diverse student populations in a learner-centered environment. -Demonstrated experience employing multiple flexible pedagogies in a learner-centered environment.
  • Demonstrated skills applicable to the design and implementation of courses in an online Ed.D. program.
Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, an ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
  • Successful university teaching experience in the U.S. as instructor of record at the graduate level.
  • Three or more years of teaching and/or administrative experience in P-12 education, higher education, health care, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated, successful experience developing or delivering online courses through a variety of media.
  • Demonstrated successful track-record of mentoring, teaching, and working with underrepresented minority students.
  • Demonstrated, successful experience working collaboratively with various constituents in higher education communities.
  • Effective interpersonal communication.
  • Affinity for the values central to Marianist education, including diversity and social justice.
  • Openness to promoting and enhancing the University of Dayton’s Catholic Marianist mission.
