The University of Louisville seeks a qualified and experienced Curriculum Specialist to oversee the curricular components of a $5.8 million, 4-year grant from the Department of Labor. The grant funds the Modern Apprenticeship Pathways to Success (MAPS) Program, whose mission is to advance the economic well-being and global competitiveness of the workforce within the Louisville region.
The Curriculum Specialist will manage the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the curricular elements of the MAPS Program, which will entail working closely with grant faculty and staff on the development of competency-based curriculum and work-based learning experiences. Additionally, the candidate will participate in identifying, applying for, and executing additional grant opportunities related to work-based learning.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with competency-based education, multi-year projects, apprenticeship development, and curriculum development in a higher education setting.
This position is a full-time, benefited position that continues through December 2023 based on department need, staff performance, and grant/contract funding.
