Associate Dean College of Education and Health Sciences
The Associate Dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences is responsible for a broad range of responsibilities within the College of Education and Health Sciences including, but not limited to:
  • oversight of accreditation activities
  • data base management
  • interfacing and working with IT and Student Affairs
  • coordination of events including orientations, commencement, end-of-year celebrations, white coat ceremonies, and CEHS promotional events including conferences and speaker series; evaluation and assessment of activities and student concerns.

The Associate Dean meets regularly with the Dean to discuss initiatives, budgeting, strategic planning, and the day-to-day management of the CEHS. The Associate Dean is a member of the CEHS leadership team.

  • Doctoral degree required, preferably in Public Health, Physician Assistant Studies, Nursing, Education, or related area of expertise.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in higher education academic administration as an associate dean, assistant dean, program director, or department chair of a large academic department, a combination of the above, or equivalent higher education management experience.
