10th Annual ASHE Dash 5K Run and 1K Walk

The run/walk will take place in the area around the Hilton Portland Downtown. To help runners & walkers follow the course, we will have “PACERS” and volunteers posted along the route to make sure participants know where to go. Light refreshments for participants will be served immediately following the run/walk at the conference hotel.
The registration fee of $25 includes light refreshments and a 2019 ASHE Dash t‐shirt (if registered before October 1).
Registration is available online through the general conference registration. If you need to be billed separately, please email email@example.com with your request.

Led by yoga instructor Dr. Kimberly Griffin Haynes
Kimberly has practiced yoga off and on for years, but recommitted to a consistent practice in 2015 and completed her teacher training at Grace Studios in 2018. She uses her practice to quiet her busy mind, embrace imperfection, and practice loving kindness. Her classes are a journey through foundational poses, with a focus on breath, alignment, strength, and presence. In her classes, you'll be encouraged to slow down, honor your body, push a little, but not too much, and let go of anything that no longer serves you.
Doors open at 6:45am. Yoga session will start promptly at 7am. Towels and water provided for all participants. Capacity of 75 participants; on site registration.
ASHE Conference Quiet Space-Room
ASHE Conference attendees will have access to enjoy Quiet Spaces/Rooms. These rooms are intended to provide attendees an opportunity to decompress and take a short break from Conference activities and events.

On the 11th floor, you'll find the newly renovated fitness center and indoor pool - everything you need to unwind and keep on top of fitness throughout your stay.
Just 5 blocks from the hotel are jogging paths along Waterfront Park on the banks of the Willamette River.
