Hind Haddad, BA, MA, M.ED, ABD

Hind Haddad is a doctoral candidate in Higher Education and Student Affairs at The Ohio State University, where she studies campus climate, belonging, and the experiences of Muslim students in U.S. higher education. Her scholarship focuses on religious identity and inclusion, Islamophobia, institutional climate, and the ways policies and campus environments shape students’ experiences of belonging and safety.
Hind currently serves as a Student Immigration Specialist at Ohio State, advising international students on immigration regulations and supporting institutional outreach, orientation, and global engagement initiatives. She is also affiliated with the College Impact Lab, where her research has examined religious, spiritual, and secular inclusion and institutional efforts to address polarization in higher education.
Bridging research, teaching, and student affairs practice, Hind brings particular attention to students and communities whose religious and cultural identities are often overlooked in higher education scholarship and policy. She is an elected Graduate Student Representative for the Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE) and a Founding Fellow of the Centre for Belonging in Education.
