2026 Election Results

The following email was sent to all current ASHE members on August 17, 2026

Dear ASHE Members,

As a member-led organization, ASHE thrives on each member's dedication, service, and shared vision of our community. Everything we accomplish is powered by members who step forward to share their time, ideas, and expertise.

I am excited to share with you today the members who have been selected to serve in the leadership groups that will steer the ASHE Board of Directors, Entity Leadership Teams, and the new ASHE Foundation:

• Board of Directors & Entity Leadership members were nominated and elected directly by ASHE members through our open process
• ASHE Foundation Board of Trustees members were selected through an open nomination process and elected by the ASHE Board of Directors

While serving in an elected leadership position is one way to serve, there are many other pathways to help lead our scholarly community. From serving as a proposal conference reviewer, chair, or discussant to contributing on a committee or leading an entity, your participation moves the field forward. In the coming weeks, we will share ways that you can get involved with ASHE through a standing committee, conference committee, Foundation committee, or entity committee. In the meantime, you can check out the Get Involved website to learn about various opportunities throughout the Association.

Finally, I want to express sincere appreciation to the Board, CAHEP, CEP, GSN, and Foundation Nominations Committees for their commitment to recruiting and slating an exceptional group of members.

Reminder: The Council for International Higher Education (CIHE) and the Scholar-Practitioner Network currently have an open call for leadership team members.
