Payment Policies
Payment Terms & Timelines
To support our collective work, payment is due at the time of each transaction
Payments (e.g., conference, pre-conference, professional development, etc.) are non-transferable (to another person).
-
The Commitment of an Invoice: We recognize that institutional bureaucracies or organizational transitions can sometimes complicate payment timelines. In these instances, invoices may be issued with a net-30 day term, or must be settled prior to the event’s commencement—whichever occurs first
. Should you encounter internal delays, we invite you to reach out to the ASHE staff atoffice@ashe.ws to discuss necessary extensions . When an invoice is generated, it is considered a completed registration and a formal intent to pay . Our staff utilizes these figures for critical event planning; therefore, any requests to cancel an invoice will follow the registration cancellation process outlined below. -
2026 Payment Plan Pilot: For the 2026 Annual Conference, we are piloting a payment plan option to increase accessibility for our members
. While payments may be incremental, the total balance must be settled in full prior to the conference . All contributions to this plan remain subject to established ASHE Payment Policies, including the registration cancellation process outlined below . -
Account Standing: To maintain the fiscal health of our association, all outstanding account balances from previous engagements must be settled before participating in future ASHE events
.

Please note that upon completion of the purchase, ASHE membership is non-refundable and non-transferable
Members requiring an invoice for their dues may generate one during the renewal process; however, the membership status will not be officially renewed until the corresponding payment is received
