Organization Overview
The Higher Education Administration program at Texas A&M University represents one of the most comprehensively structured graduate academic portfolios in higher education leadership preparation in the nation. Housed within the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resource Development in the College of Education and Human Development, the program encompasses four purposefully interconnected degree pathways — the Online MEd, MS, SAAHE, and PhD — collectively serving the full continuum of professional preparation, applied scholarship, and doctoral research formation.
Grounded in the scholar-practitioner tradition, nine full-time faculty prepare graduates to lead, research, and improve colleges, universities, and educational systems through rigorous coursework, evidence-based practice, and meaningful mentorship.
