Hanna Kim

Hanna Kim (She/Her/Hers) is a 5th-year PhD candidate in the Department of Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership with concentrations in Global Studies in Education and Higher Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Her dissertation is titled "Institutional perspectives on the sense of belonging and the experiences of East Asian international graduate students in U.S. universities." Her research aligns with the impact of education policy on marginalized students (e.g., international students, low-income students, and racially underrepresented students), particularly regarding college access and success, sense of belonging, and civic engagement in higher education.
