Professional Bio
Tyanna AE Clayton-Mallett received her B.A. in African-American Studies and Master's in Higher Education with a focus on Student Affairs from Marquette University. She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research interests include Pan-African practices within higher education, the use of dialogue techniques to bridge gaps among Africans in the diaspora, the graduate school socialization process, and mentoring relationships.
