This webinar explores how academic freedom does—and does not—extend beyond the classroom, particularly in contexts like research, public scholarship, student affairs, and diversity offices. Panelists will examine how academic freedom applies to faculty and staff, addressing challenges, misconceptions, and strategies for navigating political and institutional pressures across higher education roles.
This session is a collaboration between ASHE, the AAUP Center for the Defense of Academic Freedom, and ACPA: College Student Educators International.
