2025 Election Results

The following email was sent to all current ASHE members on August 20, 2025

Dear ASHE Members,

Since March, the Board of Directors and each Council's nominations committees have engaged in the process of identifying, slating, and presenting to the membership candidates for leadership positions within the association.

We are excited to share with you today the results of the 2025 election. Congratulations to the ASHE members who were elected and will begin their terms in November. And thank you to all ASHE members who stepped up to serve and were on the ballot.

You can find more information about the ASHE Elections Process here.

While serving in elected office is one way to get involved with ASHE, there are numerous other opportunities. We hope you will begin or continue your leadership pathway. From serving as a conference reviewer, chair, and/or discussant to serving on a committee as a member to a committee chair and through the elected offices on the Board of Directors and Council Executive Committees, there are hundreds of opportunities to get involved with ASHE.

We invite you to consider sharing your interest in serving on the 2026 Conference Committee. In the coming months, we'll also share additional involvement opportunities through committees and entities.

You can also learn more about involvement opportunities at our next Membership Monday.

Finally, we'd like to send out appreciation to the Board, CAHEP, CEP, CIHE, and CPPHE Nominations Committees for their service in recruiting and slating an exceptional group of ASHE members for the ballot.

Sincerely,

Jeni Hart, PhD
