Veronica Adele Jones

Veronica A. Jones, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Counseling and Higher Education at the University of North Texas. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University in 2014. Through frameworks such as critical discourse analysis, her research explores structures and policies, and discourse that influence marginalized communities in higher education. She has received funding through the National Institute for Health and Spencer Foundation. Her research has been published in journals such as the Review of Higher Education, Teachers College Record, and International Journal of Qualitative Studies in Education. She serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education and as an Associate Editor for the College Student Affairs Journal.
